HALFBY’s long-awaited new album is an ambitious work featuring a diverse range of guests from around the world, including his eternal hero Cornelius, Dante Elepahnte, Miya (Alborg), Sui Zhen, Marina B, and Pacific Coliseum. His Balearic dance music interpretation, following his Hawaiian trilogy, enters the next phase with the addition of a dreamy essence based on British manners reminiscent of Cherry Red and Rough Trade. While tracing the alternative 90s, he connects with nostalgia, one of the album’s themes, creating a one-man Lama Ranch-esque sound of “The Sound of Memory Lane.”
