1989年公開の宮崎駿監督作品『魔女の宅急便』、初となる交響組曲。
軽めのヨーロピアンサウンドを目指して書かれていたサウンドトラックを、久石譲自身が映画の世界観を追体験できる組曲に仕立て直した。
●[Woman] for Piano Harp, Percussion and Strings
アルバム『Another Piano Stories』に収録されていた３つの作品が、ピアノと弦楽オーケストラ、ハープとパーカッションによる三部作[Woman]として生まれ変わった。
●組曲「World Dreams」
World Dream Orchestra（W.D.O.）のテーマ曲として2004年に作曲された「World Dreams」に、2019年に委嘱された２つのオリジナル曲（NTV『皇室日記』より「Diary」、アイシンAW50周年祈念事業映像メインテーマ曲より「Driving to Future」）を組み入れ、3楽章に構成しなおされた。
長年久石が温めてきたWorld Dreamsの組曲化の構想が実現した作品。
