世界中に熱狂的ファンを持つ作家・村上春樹が、2013年に発表した短編小説「ドライブ・マイ・カー」。この珠玉の名作が日本映画界・若手実力派No.1の呼び声高い濱口竜介監督により映画化。
本作のサウンド・トラックを手掛けたのは、日本を拠点に活動しながらも海外レーベルからの作品リリース、ヨーロッパ等での国外ツアー・フェスティバル出演、シドニーの美術館Art Gallery of New South Walesでの音楽制作など、世界を股にかけて活躍する音楽家、石橋英子。
邂逅すべく宿命にあったと感じる、濱口竜介×石橋英子によるオリジナル・サウンドトラックが発売。2つのメロディーから解き放たれた、10の音楽たち。映画のために書き下ろした音楽を、1つの音楽作品として新たに構築。映画と共に、光彩を放つ傑作が完成しました。
