坂本龍一 (Ryuichi Sakamoto) – Apple Music Discography (1976-2025) [ALAC]

坂本龍一（さかもとりゅういち、英語: Ryūichi Sakamoto、1952年〈昭和27年〉1月17日 – 2023年〈令和5年〉3月28日）は、日本の作曲家、編曲家、ピアニスト、音楽プロデューサー、公益活動家。東京都出身。

音楽性は幅広く、クラシック音楽が根幹にあり、民俗音楽、ポピュラー音楽（特にテクノポップ）にも造詣が深かった。1987年には日本人で唯一アカデミー作曲賞を受賞しており、映画音楽でも世界的に評価されている。愛称は「教授」。晩年は環境や憲法に関する運動にも積極的に参加していた。1990年代中盤にはインターネットの普及に先んじて逸早くライブや作品に取り入れるなど、新技術にも興味を示していた。

This is a full discography of Ryuichi Sakamoto ripped from Apple Music, decrypted, in lossless ALAC coded m4a. I did not touch any of the metadata. There isnt any real point in converting to FLAC, the file size hardly changes and anything that can play FLACs can play M4As.

Note, Apple Music does not have all of Ryuichi Sakamoto’s albums or releases. This is just the catalog that Apple provides. There are also some tracks missing that Apple has removed.For example, in the album Sweet Revenge, there are two tracks missing. “Anna” being one. There may be examples in other albums, I didn’t check every single one. This could be a regional issue, maybe if I set my region to JP it would show. Not sure. Yellow Magic Orchestra albums will be a separate release.

Some of the Year tags from Apple are messed up, remasters will have the original date for example, but I did not change it, I left it as set on the iTunes store.

I also included an easter egg, Ryuichi Sakamoto’s recording from Greenland, which was only released at an in person event in Tokyo.
